This being the second visit to De carmens, we walked in with very high expectations since it was one of the best restaurants we had visited a couple of months ago. Unfortunately all the high hopes were not fulfilled and actually it was a pretty horrible experience. This time we opted to try out the steakhouse menu which in reality is a very big gimmick. You are offered bigger portions of meat with free options to the salad bar, soup, bruschetta and sides of potatoes. We started with the soup, nothing to brag about, whilst i opted to have some salad, which was basically a large amount of tinned vegetable served in a salad bar. this was very disappointing since they serve very good fresh vegetables if you order from the cheaper menu. We then moved on to the meat, which was very poor quality overcooked meat. although the sauces were very good. Finally opt for chips since mashed potatoes are not good. I hope you all enjoy it as much as i did the first time i went. Steak hose no no bleeehhh

Absolutely good food, a bit expensive but good value for money since portions are enormous, we had 1kg of cowboy steak & mixed grill which was big enough for 2. Chicken nuggets (for kids) aren't the cheap kind but still same price. Very friendly and helpful staff, will definitely go again.

Very nice place and good service. The mixed platter was delicious, topped up with watermelon to end on a sweet note! Will surely visit again and again.

Restaurant was under-staffed and service was poor. Took a long time to have the main course, however the place has a very good potential for improvement.
