A bit disappointed from our last visit last year as there was a change in mgt, starters we had octopus and it was hard, main course opted for meat which was fine but salmon was tasteless, good service but menu needs to be up graded, very good wine

Just had dinner at this great restaurant. It was absolutely AMAZING start to finish. We had stuffed mushrooms and mussels for starters, and chicken and duck for main course and then we had chocolate truffles and chocolate fondant for dessert. Everything was absolutely DELICIOUS. Literally mouth watering. We wished the food would never finish. Staff was amazingly nice and helpful. Food was served really quick. It has a nice quiet atmosphere. It was an absolutely lovely experience. Will definitely visit again!

This restaurant is beautifully decorated and gives the deception of high class food. The menu is simple and straight forward. Unfortunately we took 2 dry-aged ribeye which were ordered medium and mine was unedibly overcooked. They were happy to change it but still to no use since the ribeye was of the poorest quality. Quite unfortunate because the set up is wonderful and the waitress very attentive but had to keep up with the mess of the 'chef'.

We ordered salmon fillet which was really good. Well cooked, a good portion and nice creamy sauce. And rabbit which was also very good with a delicious gravy. Potatoes were exquisite. Wine complimented our main course. For dessert we ordered the chocolate fondant which was really delicious and three types of sorbets which had very nice flavours. We were very much satisfied even with the service. We did not wait long to be served. And the ambience was nice and cosy with relaxing not too loud music. Well done!!

The food was very good. The rabbit liver was excellent. The clamari rings were a bit oily. The chocolate fondant was excellent.

starter carpacio of beef was very tasty. main course was good but a bit expensive when considering the size of the portion.

This was our second visit this time for Sunday lunch. Parking was again not at all difficult considering it is Birkirkara. Items on menu were again interesting such as quail which my husband had and dessert very good and abviously made inhouse. Service polite and not over friendly.

nice place but extremely slow service. the starters were fine, I took the chicken liver pate and my partner had the soup of the day which was also the amuse bouche served on the house!!!! for mains I took a fillet which was inedible as it was very difficult to cut plus I like med to rare and it was so but not to hot to eat. my partner had the pork and it was very good. service is slow and I felt sorry for the waitress trying to meet the demands of everyone. its a pity as the place has a lot of potential

We had a really excellent dinner consisting of complementary marrow soup, stuffed chicken and fusilli al farouk for mains and a yummy chocolate fondant for dessert. Very nice presentation and good prices. The atmosphere is set in a very nice and cozy old town house. The location could easily double as a wine bar if they included platters on the menu. Would have never tried this restaurant if it wasn't for Gusto, a great find!

Food was excellent, decent sized potions, dessert was however very disappointing. We had carrot cake which was dry. They do have an excellent wine list. Overall an average restaurant to dine in.

I have to say that this is a small jewel in the heart of B'Kara. The place is very nice and even the food. We had a small accident with the rib-eye where a part of it smelled funny but it was immediately remedied and we were offered the desserts on the house. The mushroom sauce is really to die for. We also ordered calamari and they also had mussels and clamps on the side. Big well done.

Had really fun with the atmosphere. A little bit disappointed with the food we ordered meat and it was dry and over cooked. After complaining a replacement was given even though cooked better it was not up to our expectation.

An overall positive experience, but the place can do so much better with a few little tweaks. Food was good and service was efficient. Ambience is nice and cosy, however as soon as one walks in the smell of damp is very prominent in the entrance area. Having the pasta & risotto dishes in both starter and main course portions (currently only the latter is available) would also give the customers a much better menu diversity.

The Menu Eatery is a sweet little restaurant located in the Birkirkara valley. A party of two, welcomed well upon entry. The ambiance is set up to be a Jazz/wine bar/restaurant. Well stocked with a variety of good wines and liquors. Started with a tasty vegetarian carrot soup and mushrooms in garlic (and a little too much cream!) served on toast. Mains: "Pasta parcels with Gorgonzola" were filled with Stilton according to the menu giving a very mild cheesy taste, since the sauce seemed to be plain cream mixed into the pasta. It was nice but has room for improvement since the menu describes more ingredients than what was actually in the plate! The second main was a Rib-eye. I opted for a Rare cooked 400g steak over the standard 300g (which costs an extra Eur4). Expecting a slightly larger rib-eye, instead I was served the standard 300g rare steak with a small add-on piece cooked well done but tender. The side wedges were nice, side salad needs improving! Recommended to try out!

The ambience of the place is very quite and was perfect for the occasion. Waitresses were very courteous and their service was superb. Following Gusto's renewal, this was the first meal of the year with Gusto! And boy wasn't it worth it! The girl that served us was so polite, efficient and helpful! She brought us an exquisite mini-starter on the house, this followed by the tasty salad and pasta we had ordered. So worth the visit, will definetly go again!

Phoned to book and he told me that they have a seat available at 9:30pm. When I told him that I am a Gusto member he refused my reservation. This is the first time I am trying to use Gusto and I feel this is a rip off since this restaurant was marked at 50% discount even on a Saturday to attract people when in reality it does not.

Loved it!!! The fillet is tasted divine. The fresh tuna was a special so not on the menu. It was cooked perfectly. Try the chocoalte ganache. Its sinful, decadent and great to share!
