Fantastic food

A hole in the wall with many magical dishes just waiting to be chosen for a meal. Was really impressed with the duck. . . To die forand cooked to perfection. My mum took a salad with chicken and bell plepers and she recommends it also. Presentation was a 10/10. Excellent for a romantic dinner. I went there with 2 kids but managed to finish our meals just in time before other clients started arriving. Owner/chef, was really nice. Would highly recommend. Well done Omerta. Full marks from me, see you again soon.

Great Dining Experience! Throughout the 3 course meal we were impressed with the Chef's skills!

Everything was good but the pasta was al dente more than it should be. The rest was perfect a place not to be missed.

The positive part of our visit is just the culinary part, the food was very good, however we are very disappointed about the rest. We visited this restaurant on Friday at 13.00, the place was open due to another function (usually it opens after 19.00), the smell coming from the underground kitchen wasn't nice at all, but our disappointment was when we were presented with the bill with only 30% reduction whereas on the website the Friday lunch is advertised at 50%, we queried this and we were told that usually they don't even open for lunch and the dinner was at 30% on friday so that is what we were entitled to. Now I am reading on the gusto website under the discount details "On Friday if you get seated before 19:30, the one time offer is 50% not 30!" This is totally not true as we were only given 30% even though we were seated for Lunch at 13.00!!! Very disappointed about the service.

Our whole meal was delicious - we thoroughly enjoyed our risottos as starters and fish dishes as mains. The ambience is calming and welcoming as were the chef and the lovely young lady who served us. The wine selection is more varied than one would find in most local restaurants. We would recommend this place to anyone who would like a light dinner or a full-blown meal. It was nice to see that the menu caters for vegetarian and gluten-free diets too.

Excellent meal with great attention to detail in food presentation & taste. The pasta Don Corleone& risotto Hagen were delicious and cooked to perfection, while the rib eye was perfect! Kudos Warren!

Best octopus carpaccio I've ever had, rib-eye steak cooked to perfection, accompanied with freshly cooked vegetables, at the end we had an amazing platter of home made desserts, excellent service, highly reccomanded

it was a last minute decision cause we went to another restaurant in Valletta which seemed very disappointing. food at omerta was good, abit salty for my partner, but I had one of the best meat over there. the ambience was nice but the menus need to be cleaned as they seemed sticky as if juice fell over them

Pasta was overcooked and ingredients sparse. Also, the home-made pasta fettucine turned out to be ready-bought tagliatelle. The waiter was keen to meet our special food requirements though.

Slightly overpriced. My wife enjoyed her salad but I did not like my duck at all. It was as if the only treatment it got was defeathering and slight singing.

The place is very nicely converted and welcoming. Platter very good, cordial staff. We were not over enthusiasic about the food - a bit blend. Would return for a glass of wine & platter.

Everything was going fine until I found a metal screw in my main course (rib-eye stake). My partner noticed it. The waiter explained that it fell from the food lift.

This was our 1st time using Gusto - really satisfied. The experience at Omerta was 100% excellent! Great food, nice place. We've learned about d place only through Gusto + we've already saved EUR 29!

amazing food and service

Small restaurant but very nice environment, very friendly staff and very good home made pasta with variety of sauces. Only think I can suggest is maybe pasta main dishes should me slightly bigger.

Service was very poor, it took us 35 minutes to our place our order. Pasta was good. Soup was watered down and main course were served cold. Didn't bother with desserts! Will not recommend the place.
