Excellent Food, Very Friendly Staff & Atmosphere

The food was good, but upon asking for the bill, we were really disappointed when we noticed that the 50% Gusto discount was applied on food prices excluding VAT. The VAT was then re-added to the Total price.What a serious let down. When we brought this to the attention of the owner, he stated that his accountant had told him to carry out such calculation. Gusto team has been informed about the matter and remarked that this was a first time case and that such calculation is incorrect.

it was a lovely evening last saturday with friends .. we got the set menu that was in offer this days .. pasta was cooking good ,,even the ribeye was lovely ..and what can i say about the rabbit ..its soo lovely ..tasty desserts too ... the staff is so friendly .. will be visit again for sure !!!

Visited on a very busy Saturday night and the place was packed. Food was not bad but the place is too noisy like a 'kazin' and the service very casual. Sorry, but not my idea of an enjoyable meal.

Il Carciofo is a family run restaurant set in the quiet village of Gharghur, parking is not a problem, we parked right in front of the establishment on a weekend! The menu is varied having a range of pizza, pasta, meat and fish and the prices are really reasonable. Food is very much like home cooking, nothing exceptional or original but good considering the price its all worth it. The service was good and friendly. Only negative is that the restaurant does not display prices for drinks and desserts so make sure you ask for prices if you are unsure. Overall, this restaurant is really worth a try.

ambience abit cold. starters need to be more tasty but main course was amazing, starters was a platter and mushrooms and main course was fillet and king prawns. we ordered a fine wine but the glasses we had were different from mine and my partners which is a pity for such a fine wine. will visit again

The food was very good we took the Spagetti al Mare and BBQ Ribs which both were quite tasty. The place is family run and the service is great as the staff came over quite a few times to ask if everything was okay. We will definitely be visiting again :)

The shrimp cocktail wasn't that good, the seafood pasta was good. The main courses fried rabbit and fried octopus were to oily.
